Jon received his law degree, Magna Cum Laude, from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law (Indianapolis), and his BS degree in biological sciences from the University of Notre Dame. View Jon’s complete bio here.
For over 15 years, Jon has focused predominantly on complex commercial and product liability litigation, meaning that he regularly defends clients in complex multiparty lawsuits. The manufacturing industries in which Jon has gained deep technical experience include chemical, pharma, industrial and residential construction, and environmental products. In addition to manufacturing, Jon has also represented several national and regional financial institutions—particularly those engaged in the mortgage lending industry—where he has investigated and litigated matters involving nearly every type of entity involved.
The depth of Jon’s litigation experience—both at large firms and at MBCB Law (where he is a founding partner)—has led him to the conclusion that proper ESI management is often the prerequisite for a successful trial outcome. At Proteus, he counsels clients through every facet of eDiscovery: from record preservation and collection issues, to litigation holds, to record management and retention policies. His deep understanding of advanced technologies and systematic review practices have consistently yielded services that are ever-more defensible and cost-effective for his clients.
